Hey Yall,
I know, I know... it's been ages since you've heard from me, but some of you know that I'm still around. Things have been CaA-RrraZY around here! I'm sort of getting back into the swing of things. There have been a lot of home make over, Spring/Summer cleaning projects going on in my home at once and I've have not been able to get into my craft space as it is super crowded with other Stuff around the house. Anyhew, I digress. I just had to squeeze me out a space and get in on the Papertrey Ink June Blog Hop challenge. These are some of my favorite colors. So I grab my supplies here and there and literally almost scrapped everything on my lap pressing on top of a box. It took me more time to find things than to actually make my card...lol. OMG, how I miss my craft space. Not to worry, I will post all the things I promised with some extra bonuses too. All of the card stock is PTI except for the white. PTI Ink (Spring Moss, Aqua Mist), PTI - Tagged Sentiments Stamp Set. Ribbon - SU, Cuttlebug, PTI Limitless Layers Die 2 1/2" Circles, EK Scallop Punch.. I hope you enjoy my card. (My apologies for the lighting it was taken at night on top of the box I worked on...SMH (lol).

I was inspired by My Wedding Song,
"At Last..." by the late Etta James.
This is a Timeless classic to me and I can never get tired of hearing it. May she rest in peace. Such a wonderful, gifted voice. It takes me back to that one magical moment when I walked down the aisle to be with my Best Friend, Confidant and Partner for LIFE! We both have not look back since. We're 7yrs in and still smooching along...(lol).
Anyway, and this is what I created . . .
Recipe: Cart = Sweethearts Cartridge Paper = SU & Recollections Tools = Musical Notes Embossing Folder, SU-Heart-to-Heart Punch, Inkadinkado Stamps, MCT Stitched Oval Die Embellies = Stickles, MS Chalk Ink(Brights), Memento Ink(Black)
We don't want to have all the fun by ourselves so, we hope you’ll join us and link up your favorite love song inspired project at CookingWithCricut.com. Make sure you check out each blog for some Great Ideas and some sweet blog candy. For my Wild and Fabulous project I have created this Altered Composition book for my step-daughter. Previously in another post I showed another altered composition book I did for her and now her list of requests has gotton longer. She reads a lot and one day made a statement when she could find anything interesting to read, that she would write her own book. I figured I'd give her a start in writing down her thoughts in this Wild & Fabulous Journal.
Your next stop is my Design Team mate... Jennifer. Check it out and see what she has to show you today!!! Here’s the order of the hop in case you need it along the way! Enjoy!

Here is my project which is dedicated to a short list of my very, very, near and dear friends that I like to call my SIS (short for sisters). I'm an only girl of 6 boys that my mother had. So Lucky ME, I get to choose who my sisters are. These ladies have been with me through thick and thin, seen me at my worst and best of times and they're still sticking around. Friendships or Sisterhood doesn't come around like that too often. It's always a Blessing to have a one true go-to friend and confidant, but to have more than one of those kind of people in your life is like having earthly Guardian Angels at your side day by day. Ok, I don't want to get all misty on you all, so let me stop there. This special card goes out to
My Sisters:
Cheryl
Eldrina
Heidi
Juny
Lacquitta Ann (some say my twin)
Patricia
Rochelle
These ladies all know enough about me to turn me in to the CIA for good if they wanted too...(lol). I Love Them ALL so Dearly and they have all help shaped (other than my Mom) who I am today and grow into be each day. So this dedication for me, is to the BEST BESTIES in the World To ME. Hope you like my card.

So you still have a chance to get in on all the other prizes this week as long as the links/submissions are open. The last day for this Blog Hop will be on Wednesday (7/20) at Midnight EST.
