SITM Update...

Hello My Friends,
At least I hope you are still my friends...<smile> Wouldn't you know that just when I think I have things planned out what I want to do and when I want to do it...there goes that thing called "LIFE" getting in the way again. I haven't even been home long enough to get a good nights sleep let alone...craft or even organize. My parents car broke down and they live almost 30min away so on evenings when picking up my daughter, sometimes I need to run errands for them or they need to use the car. Then on weekends I've been up early to drive to other commitments,  appointments, parents house or errands that needed to be taken care of. The shuffle of these few days and past weekend left me with a mounting headache where I couldn't almost see straight and I never really had that before. I am looking forward to this weekend because I only have two things to get out for on Saturday...(hopefully). My apologies for not having things here when I said I would,(I don't like disappointing you), but I didn't want to just throw some pictures up here that weren't presentable or organized. I will get around to doing this because, there is just waaaay tooo much stuff in my craft area for me to find any descent flat surface to craft.
In the meantime, I did however come across some cards that I never got to share with you all during the holidays. I was crafting like a Mad-Scrapper due to last minute card requests and my own personal gift ideas and cards. Just thinking back on it now I'm get a little upset with myself all over again because I never got around to taking pictures of everything before it left my house and hands...ughhhh!!!
Anyhew, here's a trip down memory lane of what I was able to snag a snap shot of before they left for someone else's home...enjoy!
I really enjoyed using those ornament dies from MCT, this helped me with a lot of mass producing cards along with some Christmas stamps from Hero Arts. I truly miss you all and my crafting more than you all will ever know. I honestly wish there was a true and safe way for cloning...(lol). I am determine to get back here soon and more often. I only hope you understand and will still be around when I do. Big Warm Hugs & Smooches...

Another Card Set...

Hey There Friend,
As you can tell, I'm on a roll. I've have another post of cards that I created to go along with the others on my previous post. Let's just say my friend will be stocked up for a while I hope. Here are some cards where I was playing around with my distress inks and man oh man do I Love how these came out. I almost didn't want to give them away, but for someone like her, she more than deserves it. I Love that reverse rubber stamp from Hero Arts. It really makes the flowers stand out. I kept it clean and simple with the card stock and sentiments I used from PTI's Think Big Favorites (can't remember which #'s). I added a touch of bling to some of the center of the flowers and WOW!, what a different a little bling makes. These cards with be entered into the following challenges: Hero Arts - "August Challenge-Sketch" and The Pink Elephant - "Sympathy/Thinking of You" Hope you like.

Oh Happy Day...

Hey There My Friends,
Thanks for coming back again today. If this is your first time here...Welcome, Welcome, Welcome! I hope you visit more often. I'm here with another card that kept me up waaaay past my bedtime last night, but I was determined to get this technique down and I wanted to try out this new product.
My project for today will be entered into the following challenges:
Hero Arts, A Blog Named Hero - "Inspired by Hero Arts Artist"
CAS-ual Fridays - "Back in Black"
Brown Sugar Challenge - "Black & White with a Splash of Color"
This design of mine was inspired by none other than the Ah-Mazingly Ubber-Ubber Talented... Jennifer McGuire of Jennifer McGurie Ink, who is a Hero Arts' Design Artist. Here is the link from which I drew my inspiration - "How -To Video: Thin Glitter Die Cuts". This lady is Awesome and she just had a baby and still has time to craft and teach online card classes. You're my Hero Arts SHe-ro Jennifer. Anyhew, I had to watch the video over and over until I felt I was finally ready to try it. The "Oh Happy Day" is a new die-line from Simon Says Stamp with the script writing done by Kristina Werner (another Fantabulously Talented Lady). The black background was done with the Market Street Stamps' - Argyle background stamp which I clear embossed. I also added a little Hero Arts touch with the "Everyday Sentiments" stamp set using the (XOXO). I added the hearts using Stampin' Up's Heart-to-Heart punch, used my Martha Stewart's, Crystal Fine glitter (it's about time I had a use for it...lol) and colored of the letters with my Bic Sharpie markers for my splash of color. Next time I'll have to try a craft like this during the early hours of the day. I made it to work somehow, but could barely keep my eyes open or focused. Until next time, scrap you later...zzzzZZZ! (lol)
