Crafting in the Wee Hours...

Hi My Friends,
Here is a card that I worked on today after finally being able to get in my craft area. I'll be going out of town on Tuesday so needless to say I've been scrambling to get quite a lot done in a short time. Not to worry, I'll still have posts for your to view while I'm away. It will be my Genie Blogger doing all the work for me while I'm gone. This card is for the CCCC Challenge - use "Christmas" cart. There are some great things happening with Scrapper in the Making so I hope you check back often. Smooches...
I wanted a real life-like snow effect so I used White Puffy Paint and spread is on the trees. I also used Glossy accents to give a life-like feel to the snowflakes. The sentiments are from MPS - "Winter Punnies". I think I better get started on my Christmas Cards. I have to make a set for me and my mom this year.

Sweethearts... "Honeymoon"

Good Morning My Friends,
Yes, Good Morning... while some of you are well into your sleeping, I'm still up crafting in the wee wee hours. I think I must have insomnia or something. I've been doing this a lot lately for the past, almost 2 weeks now and still have to get up early with my 2yr old. I know my body is really going to pay me back hard if I don't get a grip on myself...and soon! (lol) Well....since I'm already up, what's a person to do when they can't sleep???? Hmmmm.... CRAFT!, CRAFT!, CRAFT! :-).

Here is an entry I did for More than Favors "Wacky Wednesday #48" Challenge - Create a Travel Themed project. This is also going to serve as another entry going on at More than Favors with Paula for the Cricut Cartridge Chaos Challenge (CCCC) #29 - Sweetheart Cart.

As you can tell there are many, many details in this project (that's what happens when you can't sleep). I'll have to come back later and provide you all the recipe because if I don't make myself go to bed now, I know I'll regret it later. Smooches... (p.s. but if you already up and happen to see this, go ahead and leave me some comments...). **sn: (I think I seriously need to switch to Decaf..."yuck", just the thought of that makes me cringe...lol) ** Ok...Good Night/Morning; Dbl Smooches...

Still Feeling Patriotic...

Hi Everyone,

This weekend has been a blast. With soooo much going on in my life these days all at once, this long holiday weekend is Just What the Dr. Ordered! I've been sooo busy personally it's a wonder that I had time to craft anything. The next Work of Heart you'll see was supposed to be a birthday card for my great-niece, but in all the hurry and scurry going on that day, I didn't have time to finish it and give it to her. Sooo a day later I'm still looking at this card, already cut out, and wondering what can I do with this to make some good use of it. Well it didn't take me long when I remember that Paula at More than Favors had a few challenges going on at her blog. So Guess What... for both of her challenges Wacky Wednesday "Red, White & Blue" and Cricut Cartridge Chaos Challenge (CCCC) "Wild Card" this project would fit both of them. Hope you like it as much as I do. I call it..."My Star Spangled Cupcake" (lol). Smooches...
Recipe:
Cart: Wild Card cut at 5.35"
Embellies: Stars (old stash), Ribbon, (Michael's), Brad (Recollections)
Paper: Martha Stewart pattern (Classic Woodland), Recollections
Tools: Studio G "Celebrate" stamp, Stampin UP "Whisper White", Clear Embossing Powder

It's Cricut Cartridge Chaos Challenge (CCCC) #22 Time!

Hey Everyone,

It's Cricut Cartridge Chaos Challenge again with Paula at More than Favors and Meriah at her NEW Blog Tattered Time. This week Meriah is hosting and I'm so thankful that this CCCC was extended from last week. I just had to enter. This is one of my favorite cartridges and I said to myself **sn: I say a lot to myself; we (me, myself and I) have some very good conversations... (lol)** there is no way I could miss out on this challenge. I used the image on page 106 of the TBBM cart. I wanted to do something different with the image and play on the visual effect of the shaped image because it looked like a Hanger type card. So here's my take for this challenge I call... "Hung Up On YOU". Hope you like it. You know we bloggers L-O-V-E comments soooo, what are you waiting for? I'd love to hear from Y-O-U!

Recipe:
Cart: Tags, Bags, Boxes and More - Pg. 106
Papers: Martha Stewart (Classic Woodland), Recollections
Embellies: Recollections (Prima Flowers), Studio G (Pearls), PTI (Buttons), Michael's (Ribbon/Bling)
Tools: Martha Stewart (Metallic Inks) distressed edges, Studio G (Alpha Stamps)

I made a cute little maching purse to hold some Thank You note cards as well. Hope you like it.
