Peachy Keen Sketch & PTI Challenge - Holiday Lollipops

Hi My Friends,
Happy Monday! You ever have one of those days where you just have to get that crafty idea out of your head. Well let's just say my mind is in overdrive and I can't create fast enough. I just hope I don't loose the thoughts that are skipping around up there(lol). Anyhew when I saw this sketch challenge over at Peachy Keen Stamps - Tuesday Sketch Challenge #66, I knew immediately what I wanted to do. I didn't get to it right away and it kept popping up in my head each passing day and night. So here, I finally got to get it out of my head and onto paper. Here is the sketch that we had to follow...

Here is my interpretation on it...

I really had fun making this. The idea of using my Twine to make the lollipops was a brilliant idea I think, that was the main part of the creation that was running through my head over and over again. I love my twine and I have a few more crafty ideas to use it for this holiday. This card will also be a part of the Make it Monday challenge - "Ribbon Pleating" that runs over on Papertrey Ink Blog. I created the background using a self-masking cut out of the grass hill (Memento Bamboo Leaves), I distress the sky with some MS Chalk Ink and distressed a sun into it from the corner using some ColorBox petal (Canary). I wanted to make the Twinipops look life like so I put some glossy accents on them after I got the twine down. The cloud is a die cut from PTI (Up Up & Away). Although you wouldn't know it I used the stem from their Day Dreamer set. The sentiment is also PTI from (Christmas Poinsettia). I embellished it with the PTI ribbon (Ocean Tide) and added some bling. The scallop punch is from Marvy. Papers are MS, Recollections. I hope you like it too... BTW,

CCCC & Wacky Wednesday come together...

Heeeey There My Friends,
I Did It! I got one more post in before calling it a night. That should be some type of record or something. I have an early morning tomorrow that's going to require a long drive and a long, long waiting time. I hate those kinds of appointments. I hope this doesn't take up most of my day, but at least I know I was able to get some crafting in to make up for it...lol. This week Meriah over at Tattered Time is hosting this week's CCCC (she and Paula w/More Than Favors alternate weeks). The cartridge chosen for this week was "Gypsy Wanderings", well it's actually not a physical cartridge, but for those of you that own the Gypsy this was one of the pre-installed carts that came with it. Since it may be hard for you to find. I'll point out the cut I did from Gypsy Wandering. It's the "bling shoe"; yep that's right, only 1 cut. That's it...well truth be told, I had cut out the pair, but some where in my craft area one of the shoes got missing and I looked and looked and could not find it anywhere. I hate when that happens. **sn: (it could also be due to the huge mess on my desk from all the crafting I've been doing)**. Anyhew I refused to set up the machine again for cutting out just one shoe so... I Improvised. Hence, the other mini punch shoes instead. This however worked in my favor because Paula at More Than Favors has a weekly Wacky Wednesday Challenge which this week is a Sketch Challenge (see below). It must have been part of that other shoe's plan to help me maximize on my crafting. I'm still a little perturbed I can't find it, but oh well my project is finished now. Take it or Leave It! Hi Everyone,
 It seems like forever that I've posted something I've created. I guess that what happens when LIFE gets in the way. I been trying to finish this online class for an upcoming test that I'm taking concerning a job. It just gets really hard to focus on those when I end up checking the blogs first, so I had to switch gears and say no blogging until I put in at least 2hr or more of online studying. Wish me luck.
 I'm entering this design below as a 2-4-1 entry with Peach Keen Stamps Challenges. Wow, this has never happened to ME before.
