Another Card Set...

Hey There Friend,
As you can tell, I'm on a roll. I've have another post of cards that I created to go along with the others on my previous post. Let's just say my friend will be stocked up for a while I hope. Here are some cards where I was playing around with my distress inks and man oh man do I Love how these came out. I almost didn't want to give them away, but for someone like her, she more than deserves it. I Love that reverse rubber stamp from Hero Arts. It really makes the flowers stand out. I kept it clean and simple with the card stock and sentiments I used from PTI's Think Big Favorites (can't remember which #'s). I added a touch of bling to some of the center of the flowers and WOW!, what a different a little bling makes. These cards with be entered into the following challenges: Hero Arts - "August Challenge-Sketch" and The Pink Elephant - "Sympathy/Thinking of You" Hope you like.

Cards & Note Card Set Pt. 1 of 3

Hi My Friends,
Well last night I delivered my "Care & Comfort Goodie Package" to my girlfriend. I didn't want to show too much here because I'm not sure how often she checks my blog. Luckily she hadn't seen it in a while (gotta get on her about that). Well... She Absolutely Loved, Loved, Loved IT!!! Forgive me, I didn't think to get pictures of the other stuff I put in here (shame on me) but I can share that there were some food comfort goodies (granola trial mix, V8 energy drink, sutter home, pre-sliced ready to eat fruit bowl...etc). She dug in right away. She LOVED all the cards so much, she wasn't sure if she might be able to give them away. I told her, I can always make more so feel free to share. She's a crafty person herself so I had to make sure (putting pressure on myself) that this package was crafted to the "T" or "C", whichever ...here is a glimpse of the paper crafts loaded in with her goodies along with the post from yesterday. (**Note: In an effort to post these multiple times in same challenge, I had to split up the posts, but hopefully when reading it will all flow together.)
I am really loving the latest release of dies & stamp sets from My Creative time. I used the 3x3 Tri-Fold Die and the 3x3 Envelope dies for this set. Paired it up with some DCWV paper, PTI buttons, Twine a little embossing and bling and it became quite a Notable Gift Set. This set will be entered in the Simon Says Stamp Challenge - "Anything Goes", Craft Your Passion - "Emboss It", The Pink Elephant - "Sympathy/Thinking of You".

Cards... Pt. 2 of 3

This set was created and using leftovers from my stash with an added touch of pearls, embossing, SSS stamps, and punches. This card will be entered in the Simon Says Stamp Challenge - "Anything Goes", Craft Your Passion - "Emboss It"

Cards... Pt. 3 of 3

This other card was also created using items in my stash where I'm trying to get the most bang out of what I already have. The stars and sentiment are from the latest Simon Says Stamp of the Month Kit for September. I'm so glad I joined. The items in their kits are all very useful and Awesome. It the perfect variety and portion. My little one looks forward to the mini lollipop that's always tucked inside the packages. I think that is so cute. This card will also be used in the Simon Says Stamp Challenge - "Anything Goes", Anything Goes - Make Your Own Background, Craft Your Passion - "Emboss It".

Note Card Set

Hi My Friends,
I'm here with another craft project that I was working on to give to a Super Awesome GirlFriend (more like my Sister/SIS since I don't have any). She travels a lot with work and is hardly ever in town, but I recently spoke to her and she's been under the weather. I thought I would put together a little care package for her before she has to leave again and included a few cards that I've made along with some tummy goodies. I'll provide more pictures of everything as I'm assembling it, but here is a note card set I made for her using her first name initial. I got my new My Creative Time Stamps and Dies from her latest August Release, "click here" in the mail and I just couldn't wait to play with them. This is so going to help me with my quick notes card that I love to make so often. Now I can make a quick envelope just as fast with this die.
These all came together rather quickly with some confetti paper I had in my stash, pattern paper, MCT dies, distressed square punch, Thank You stamps set from Inkadinkado, twine and a little bling. I noticed after this photo shoot that my twine got a little out of place, but rest assure that it was quickly cleared up before adding it to the care package. Hope you like...Thanks for stopping by today. I love reading your comments. I'll scrap you later... <3

Owl Always Love You...

Hello Friends,
I'm Baaaack! well sort of any way. I'm still organizing and trying to scrap in between (still haven't learned my lesson). My family and I along with other S. Floridians really dodged a bullet this time with the onset of Hurricane Issac. We did endure a lot of rain showers but thankfully no power outages. I've been working on some projects here and there and I decided to post this one as I thought it was so Darn Cute!...lol
It was very simple and easy to make and I scrapped using Washi Tape for the first time. I have a few other rolls, but the verdict is still out on my full review yet. The stuff rips too easily for me...or maybe I don't know my own strength (lol). Here's my card...
During the photo shoot, I thought it was still missing something so I regrouped my thoughts and Voila! Now it has that perfect touch I was looking for. I haven't been keeping up with the latest challenges out there but I did find these few that my card would fit for. If you find any others, let me know so that I can update my post the same day.
CAS-ual Fridays - Banners and Flags
Paper Playtime - Polka Dots + a Sentiment
Krafty Girls - Anything Goes
Craft Supplies:

Re-Organizing..., Quick Project

Hi Everyone,
Just wanted to give you a quick update to let you know I'm still here and kickin' (lol). I've been contemplating (more like avoiding) really taking the time to get organized in my craft space. I know I promised some time ago to give you all a tour after that massive Michael's storage craft haul I did (click here). I (more like DH) got everything built and put in place, but because I was trying to scrap and organize at the same time, I never got to a working/functional finished product I was happy with. Hence I went into complete organization mode, almost starting from scratch pulling everything off the shelves (whew what a Mess (lol)). I almost wanted to walk away asking myself what was I thinking. I think part of keeping my Mojo going is making sure that I'm organized and know what I have and where. I couldn't take it anymore when my trying to organize and craft in between kept getting in the way of each other. It took a lot of Sweat, OMG's, WTH's (heck) and Martinis to keep things going. Well I'm almost done and getting very happy at my new organizing, which will be a whole lot more functional for me for sure. This certainly brought a realization to How Much scrappin' supplies(DH might use another word) I really have. I was in shock and aw. I hate when I buy something I already had and didn't know because it was tucked away somewhere at home...uggghhh! Anyhew, I guess I'll add those to my giveaway stash. This also Really Exposed me to my hubby who was shaking his head the whole time at more and more stuff I pulled. I reminded him that he's the one who unleashed the Scrap-Beast in me by buying me my first Cricut (lol).
While I'm still organizing, I came across so many projects I'd done that were never photographed or posted or ones that I really liked and didn't know I still had. Here is one I'd like to share that I made for a friend of mind for their birthday some time ago. I'll post more as I go along (some new, some blast from the past) so that you can still have a reason to come visit me (lol). Once complete I will have some hauls and my complete craft space to share with you. For those that have to get back into the Back to School routine, here's wishing you and yours the Best School Year EVER! We are all Learning Each Day, whether in School or Not! Take time to Take in the Lesson! Smooch ya later...

to the Happy Couple

Hello My Friends,
Today I come to you with a card for a happy soon to be newlywed couple. I thought this would make a perfect wedding card even though it's not of the traditional colors or theme as most wedding cards are made. This is for a more neutral, laid back couple that don't want all the delicate frills that most wedding decor follows. I believe you can fit rustic into elegant and this was my thought behind making this card.
Action Wobble Challenge - "The B Challenge (Have something on your project that starts with a B.)"
Docerela Creations - "Inspirational Photo"
Unity Stamp Challenge - "I DO"
Paper Crafting Journey - "Anything Goes"
Jackson's Digital Expressions - "Anything Goes +Optional Color Twist"
Recipe:
Papers: DCWV, Recollections
Stamps: Unity (Itty Bitty Stamp of the Week #2 & #32)
Tools: SU Heart-2-Heart Punch, T.Holtz Distresser & Distress Inks, Momento Ink
Embellies: MS Glitter Pen, Glossy Accents, Brads, Action Wobble
I tried my best to get as close to the inspirational photo colors, but when the ink touched the paper is came off in a slightly different tone. I still think is a close match thought. The rustic look is sort of chic to me. Hope you like. Thanks so much for stopping by and sharing your thoughtful, encouraging words. Scrap you later...(you've been Smooched)! How did I do on my very First (1st) Video...lol <3

School Spirit!!!

Hi Everyone,
It's getting close to that time for kids to go back to school. My stepdaughter is anxious as this is her Senior year. I'm excited for her too. My little one will be starting day care for the first time in September. I'm trying to prepare myself as much as I can, but am certainly doing my research and asking a lot of questions at these centers. You can't be too careful these days.
Anyhew enough of that, I'm here to share with you this quick shaped card I made. It's been a while since I've  done one of these and I will certainly be doing more. Well I couldn't let Back to School get started without creating at least one tribute to it. I used the Locker Talk Cartridge for this one. Let me know your Smoochy Thoughts...lol
This card will be for the following Challenges:
Celebrate the Occasion - "Back to School - create a Back to School project."
DL.Art Link Party - "Thankful Thursday Link Party - Anything Goes"
Krafty Girls - "Get in Shape - create a shaped card with any theme."
Made Especially for You - "Back to School with Vellum - create a Back to School card using vellum."
Ok, that's all for now. Thanks for stopping by and leaving some blog love. You've been officially Smooched...(lol) scrap you later.

Time for the Bubbly

Hello Again,
Here is a card I made for the following challenges. Sassy Studio Designs - "All White Challenge" and Brown Sugar Challenge - "Buttons & Bows". I'll also be sharing this on the Pink by Designs's - Linking Up Tuesday.
I used the D'vine Swirls on the layer of the card. The image is from SSD, Sentiment is from PBD and some bling, ribbon and bows from my stash. It was hard to photograph this especially since it was late at night, but hopefully this shows up well on your monitors. Hope to see you back real soon. Scrap you later...
